Isabel Marant, Dubaï

The Isabel Marant boutiques designed by the agency are part of an ongoing process of creation and architectural research. Each boutique is therefore unique, with its roots firmly planted in the location and culture of the country in which it is based. The new Isabel Marant boutique in Dubaï, located in the Mall of the Emirates - Fashion Dome, is a unique space. Long and narrow, it has two entrances and two shop windows facing each other. Based on these spatial characteristics, the interior layout is designed as an open plan, leaving the central space free of any clutter.

This clear structure gives the boutique an overall coherence and a fluidity of spatial perception. The impression it gives is that of a composition of different perpendicular planes assembled in three dimensions: the floor, the ceiling, the walls and the furniture. Vertically, the mineral walls, slightly detached from the existing envelope, provide surfaces for displaying the clothes. Others, arranged freely in the space like an abstract sculpture, partition and delimit the spaces: display windows, fitting rooms, point of sale, Isabel Marant and Étoile areas. Made of travertine, they are arranged like wood marquetry, creating subtle geometric combinations with the different grain patterns of the stone. The choice of rich natural materials, such as travertine, wood, vegetable leather, and precious metals such as brass, offers a minimalist and luxurious setting for the new Isabel Marant boutique in an orderly geometric arrangement.
