Isabel Marant, New York
Always contextual, each Isabel Marant boutique is a unique piece that draws inspiration from the culture of its location. Located between Central Park and the famous Madison Avenue, the new Isabel Marant boutique has taken over the Upper East Side neighborhood of New York City.
The long shape of the space has resulted in a face-to-face layout: on one side, a piece of furniture covered with straw panels; on the other, a shiny metal container housing the store's living areas (fitting rooms, cash register, stock room), designed as a tribute to the famous French architect Jean Prouvé.
The main piece of furniture connecting the entrance to the back of the boutique is the result of extensive research. The Franklin Azzi agency worked on a unique implementation of straw cords around wooden frames. The technique is derived from traditional chair caning and resulted in the creation of panels that were then assembled on a metal structure. Mortar niches allow the brand's clothing and accessories to be displayed.
