RING ZÉRO, CROSSROADS Building the resilient city, SEOUL BIENNALE OF ARCHITECTURE AND URBANISM 2021

For the Seoul Biennale, Franklin Azzi proposes a prospective installation on the notion of micro-architecture as a prototype for a more resilient city. A micro perspective to the challenge of the macro, with the example of the megalopolis of Beijing.

To explore and enhance the reflection, the architect conducted several interviews with Chinese artists, creators and designers, or who work in connection with China:

_Xing Danwen, artist and photographer

_Jing Jing (Naihan Li), designer

_Huang Rui, painter, calligrapher, performer

_Jérôme Sans, curator of contemporary art exhibitions

_Philip Tinari, writer, critic and curator, director of UCCA - Center for Contemporary Art

_Enrico Ancilli, architect

_Cao Dan, curator

_Sun Dawei, fashion designer
