Workstation

On the banks of the Seine, Franklin Azzi Architects designed the transformation of the WorkStation building for the Hines Group. Located on the outskirts of La Défense, this 41,000 m² complex can accommodate up to 3,050 employees. The project reinvents the work experience by enhancing the building's existing qualities. The agency has redesigned the entrances, outdoor spaces, active base, office floors, terraces and central auditorium, which is now open and visible from the main circulation areas. Without altering the original façade, new visual openings reinforce the connection with the landscape and the banks of the Seine. The project redefines the relationship between private spaces and public areas, with a sober, functional and user-oriented approach. WorkStation embodies a contemporary renovation, capable of accompanying the transformation of business districts and extending the life of a building without denying its heritage.
