Ruinart Pavilion

Founded in 1729, Ruinart moved to Reims in 1768, settling in a building reminiscent of a cavalry barracks built around a central courtyard. Demolished during World War I, it was rebuilt identically by architect Thiérot and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2015.

Proud of its history, Ruinart is also focused on the future, both through its environmental approach, which aims to pass on its expertise, and through its position as an ambassador for art and design. It is based on these principles that we have developed our proposal for a reception pavilion that reflects the values upheld by the House.

Acting as a link between the site's landscape and architectural heritage, our project, based on the layout of an old farmhouse, highlights the connection between the production site, its mineral courtyards, and the wooded park that surrounds it. It offers a strong dialogue with the historic building, a refined structure that allows for great flexibility of use and a sensory experience for visitors.
