Maison Plisson
On Place Saint-Honoré, the 1,000 m² space spread over three floors was renovated by Franklin Azzi Architecture to become the second Maison Plisson. The project references the world of restaurants, old brasseries and iconic establishments. The interior design codes reinterpret those of Parisian brasseries, creating a functional and welcoming space. In order to reflect the image of Maison Plisson – highlighting artisanal expertise – the agency designed each piece of furniture to measure, seeking durability and authenticity through the use of materials typical of food shops.
The combination of several programmes with different specifications and technical standards required a complex synthesis to meet all the requirements. The ten food businesses, the shop and the two restaurants were each treated specifically. To accommodate this diversity of programmes and the need for space, the project had to include a major restructuring of the premises in order to combine two buildings constructed in two different periods and with different reference levels, particularly in terms of floor heights, into a single fluid space.
