Renard, Technicolor headquarters

Located on Rue du Renard, the office building acquired by the COVEA Immobilier Group underwent a major rehabilitation led by Franklin Azzi Architecture to become the new headquarters of the Technicolor Group. With a total floor area of 8,500 sqm, the building enjoys an exceptional location between the Centre Pompidou and Paris City Hall and holds significant heritage value.

Responsible for the project’s design, Franklin Azzi Architecture sought to restore the building to its “ideal state” by reworking the volumes of the atrium, the glass roof, and the office floors. The architecture was stripped back to reconnect with the original design: superficial interventions were removed to purify the existing structure and reveal both its volumes and historic details. The former glass roof was dismantled and reconstructed according to its original proportions, while complying with current height regulations and creating additional usable space. The atrium was also redesigned with the introduction of walkways, providing new circulation paths and increased natural light throughout the office floors.
