FRANKLIN AZZI, PALAIS DE TOKYO BOOKSTORE

Paris, 2016

Interiors

Bookstore, Palais de Tokyo

The space dedicated to education and inclusion through art is both rich and complex. Rich in terms of its architectural features characteristic of the Palais de Tokyo: high ceilings with exposed concrete beams, natural light provided by high glass roofs, and proximity to the popular and attractive bookstore. Complex because of the many challenges involved in making it a high-quality, comfortable space for everyone.

Our aim was to highlight and understand what already existed, while improving it to create a welcoming space for activities that is universal and accessible to all.
