Madeleine, Nouvelle AOM
Madeleine is a renovation project for the Immeuble aux Trois Quartiers, an iconic 1930s building located at the corner of Boulevard de la Madeleine and Rue Duphot. The project aims to restore the building's urban dimension and openness to the city.
The transformation of the facades is an opportunity to introduce new uses: large continuous balconies are added to the street-facing elevations, providing each level with an outdoor extension and natural ventilation for the workspaces. The building thus opens up to the outside and reconnects with its environment.
The original facades, marked by the Art Deco spirit, are restored and rebalanced; the side frames removed during the 1990s renovation are restored, reaffirming the building's original appearance.
At the heart of the building, the office floors have been redesigned with clarity and flexibility in mind. Technical constraints have been streamlined to provide fluid, legible, and scalable spaces.
