The EPY.BEI.02 sofa was custom-designed for the EP YAYING boutique in Beijing. Its design echoes the leather gymnastic mats used for military training in the 1930s. A large leather upholstered mattress, conceived as a pattern, extends over the seat, back and armrests. Leather straps adorn the wooden structure, recalling the suspension straps traditionally hidden inside sofas.
