As part of the redevelopment of the building located at 126 Rue de Rivoli, Franklin Azzi was commissioned by Redevco to completely restructure this iconic building. Spread over eight floors, the project boasts a diverse mix of uses: shops, offices, a hotel, urban logistics and a rooftop accessible to the public. The project focuses on enhancing the existing architectural qualities while integrating contemporary uses. Three main themes guide the approach: opening up to the city via new terraces and loggias, clarifying flows and access, and creating synergies between complementary uses over time. From the commercial base to the hotel with its rooftop restaurant, via an underground logistics platform and offices opening onto a patio, the project redefines the building as an urban island, serving a more fluid, mixed-use and resilient Paris.
