The office introduces artist Sebastian Stumpf
FRANKLIN AZZI ARCHITECTURE introduces artist Sebastian Stumpf represented by the Thomas Fisher Gallery.
"Islands and Basins"
Sebastian Stumpf's videos and photographs depict on-the-spot actions in public spaces. The motionless camera draws attention to architectural details of these urban spaces. The "Islands and Basins" exhibition explores the forgotten spaces of office blocks – the water fountains, where the Photograph showcases himself in odd and unexpected positions.
Sebastian Stumpf lives between Leipzig and Berlin. His works were recently exposed at the Wilhelm-Hack-Museum in Ludwigshafen, at the Kunsthalle im Lipsiusbau in Dresde and at the Contemporary Arts Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.
